Back to school— Wednesday 27 January 2021 In line with Queensland Health advice , state schools will continue to adhere to physical distancing and enhanced hygiene measures in order to provide COVID-safe facilities and protect the health, safety and wellbeing of students, staff and the school community. Our schools operate under ‘COVID normal’  conditions, and parents and carers are welcome on state school sites.

Adults should limit gathering at drop-off and pick-up times, in the car park, outside classrooms and at the school gate. Congregating in school grounds is not permitted before or after school. Please do not visit a school if you are sick. Anyone who is showing signs of illness or feeling unwell must stay at home, contact their doctor or call 13HEALTH (13 43 25 84) and get tested 

Crescent Lagoons SS plan for the commencement of the 2021 school year.As of Wednesday 27 January, Parents and Carers are welcome in school grounds, however guidelines will be essential. Please ensure social distancing is adhered to at all times, this may require staggered entry by parents in classrooms. We encourage everyone to be patient as we acknowledge this is an important and exciting time for teachers, parents and children.

· Parents are welcome to escort their children to classrooms from 8.30am onwards to unpack school bags, social distancing is a high priority. This may require patience with limited people allowed in classrooms to avoid overcrowding.

· Drop off time remains the same, no earlier than 8. 30am please via North Street Extended gate for Prep A and Years 1-6. Supervision commences at 8.30am in the undercover area, all students are to remain there until the bell goes.

· Camp Australia may be an alternative and available on school grounds if parents have early starts or late finishes outside these hours.

· Prep A parents are welcome to escort their child to the classroom from 8.30 am onwards, learning commences at 9.00am. Social distancing is required at all times.

·  Prep A students can be collected from courtyard at 3. 00pm.

·  Years 1-6 students will be dismissed by classroom teacher at 3.00pm. Children waiting for their bus will be supervised in the undercover area. Some parents may arrange with their child alternate collection points without coming into the school.

· Prep C and O students via Eton Street. Parents are welcome to escort children to their class rooms from 8.30am onwards, learning commences at 9.00 am, please remember to social distance at all times

· Prep O and C pick up procedure via Eton Street. Children will be dismissed at 3.00pm, same arrangement as the morning drop off. Please be aware this may change.

· If parents wish to collect their child early they must follow correct procedures through the office.

· We are excited to be welcoming all our parents, caregivers and visitors back to school and we look forward to seeing all our current and new students for the commencement of 2021.
